Discover the breathtaking landscapes and authentic culture of southern Morocco with our Chegaga Desert Circuit. This 5-day journey will take you along iconic stretches of the trans-Saharan route, explore the great Sahara Desert, meet nomadic communities, and enjoy the incredible diversity of landscapes, from mountains and oases to endless dunes.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Gorges

• Pickup at Marrakech airport or any location in the city at 12:00 PM.

• Panoramic lunch in the Atlas Mountains.

• Visit the Glaoui Kasbah and the Ait Ben Haddou Ksar, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

• Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in the Dades Gorges.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Nkob – Zagora – Chegaga

• Breakfast followed by a tour of the stunning Dades Gorges.

• Cross the Saghro Mountains via the Tazazert Pass toward Nkob, then continue to the Draa Valley.

• Arrive in the Chegaga Desert for dinner and overnight at the desert bivouac.

Day 3: Full Day in the Desert – Nomadic Life – Erg Chegaga

• Morning 4×4 excursion across the dunes to visit nomadic tents.

• Immerse yourself in the daily life of nomadic communities and experience the beauty and simplicity of desert living.

• Return to the bivouac to rest before a camel ride to watch the sunset over the dunes.

• Dinner and Berber evening around the fire in a comfortable desert bivouac.

Day 4: Chegaga – Taliouine – Taroudant

• Depart for Taliouine via the dried riverbed of the Draa, Lake Iriqui, and Foum Zguid.

• Lunch en route, then continue to Taroudant, nicknamed “Little Marrakech” for its red walls and traditional souks.

• Visit the city and overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 5: Taroudant – Marrakech

• Guided tour of Taroudant, an ancient city surrounded by over 6 km of ramparts with nine historic gates.

• Return to Marrakech in the afternoon; overnight at the riad or transfer to the airport depending on your flight.
