Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley (330 km) Pickup from your riad or hotel at 08:00 AM. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2,260 meters, with stops to admire panoramic views and traditional Berber villages. Visit the historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its fortified towers and as a filming location for movies such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Mummy. Lunch in Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert” and Moroccan Hollywood. Continue through the Skoura Oasis, a lush labyrinth of palm groves and hidden kasbahs, including the famous Kasbah Amridil. Explore the Rose Valley, known for its Damask rose cultivation and the annual Moussem Festival of Roses in May. Overnight in a Berber guesthouse in the Dades Valley with dinner included. Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Desert Camp (300 km) Breakfast at the hotel before departure to the Todra Gorges, near Tineghir, known for its towering cliffs and palm-filled valley. Visit Jorf’s ancient irrigation system, used by Berbers for centuries. Continue to Erfoud, famous for fossil quarries dating back over 380 million years. Arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, for a camel trek during a breathtaking sunset over the dunes. Overnight in a luxury desert camp (Jaima) with dinner and a traditional Berber drum party under the stars. Day 3: Sunrise in Merzouga – Camel Ride – Rissani – Draa Valley – Marrakech (560 km) Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over Erg Chebbi, one of the most beautiful moments of the tour. Return by camel to the hotel for breakfast. Depart for Rissani, the first imperial city of Morocco, visiting its lively market where nomads sell livestock and local goods.
